Harry Marchant, Volunteer Director of Friends of Pelzer, has owned his own successful restaurant in New York City and works in real estate investing in New York. He studied accounting and finance at Virginia Tech and has recently acquired his SC Real Estate License. He presently owns his own “Green” consulting business and manages RCF Development Group in Pelzer. Having volunteered with the Red Cross for three months during the Katrina Disaster, Harry managed 900 hotel rooms throughout the State of Louisiana for the volunteer rescue workers. His experience also includes working as the guest services & sales manager for a non-profit healing center in Arizona.
Andrea Damitio, Volunteer Assistant Director, has over 27 years of non-profit management experience and was Vice President of the North American division of an international corporation. She has extensive experience in fundraising, marketing and organizing special events.
