Mission
Friends of Pelzer (FOP) is a non-profit organization based in Pelzer, SC with the broad mission to benefit the town through restoring historic and new buildings alike, revitalizing businesses, providing outreach services to the community and beautifying the town with new parks and landscaping. The non-profit has received a 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS so that donors may deduct contributions on federal taxes.
Vision
We visualize Pelzer as a thriving community with a large recreation park, a renewable energy source, restored historic buildings, a community center, flourishing local businesses and farmer’s market. The town will also enjoy clean ground water, soil and a fresh, vibrant landscape.
